Photographs in this section are of Colin Corston.  Colin was in The 1st Royal Dragoons, this regiment in modern times is now known as The Blues & Royals.

The first photograph shows Colin at the back of his parents house in Thornham, the house was to become known as Corston Cottage and can be found in Church Street. If you look on the list of people from Thornham who were in the Army during World War One, Colin's father, Nathaniel, can be seen listed as one of those who fought.
